How do I get started?

Sign up for a free 14-day trial, register your company, add your employees, and run your first payroll — all within minutes.

Can I manage multiple companies?

Yes. Thibitisha supports multi-company management from a single account, ideal for holding groups or business owners with multiple ventures.

How does accountant access work?

You can invite an accountant to your company or find one through our marketplace. Accountants get their own dashboard to process payroll on your behalf.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept M-Pesa (STK Push), credit/debit cards, and bank transfers for Enterprise plans.

Payroll Officers

What can I do as a Payroll Officer?

As a Payroll Officer, you can process monthly payroll, generate payslips, create KRA submission files, and manage employee records for your assigned company.

Can I process payroll for multiple companies?

A Payroll Officer is assigned to a single company. If you need multi-company access, your owner can assign you to additional companies.

How are tax calculations handled?

All tax calculations are fully automated. PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, and Housing Levy are calculated using the latest KRA-published rates and thresholds.

Accountants

How do I become a Thibitisha accountant?

Register on Thibitisha as an accountant. Once verified, company owners can invite you, or clients can find you through our marketplace.

How do I earn money on the platform?

You earn a transparent per-employee fee for every client company you manage. Your earnings scale as your client base grows.

Can I manage clients on different plans?

Yes. Each client company has its own plan. You manage them all from your unified accountant dashboard regardless of their individual plans.

Employees

How do I access my payslips?

Once your employer adds you to Thibitisha, you will receive an invitation to create your account. After logging in, your payslips are available instantly.

Is employee access free?

Yes. Employee access is always free. Your employer’s subscription covers your access to payslips, P9 forms, and employment records.

Can I download my P9 form?

Yes. Your annual P9 tax certificate is generated automatically and available for download from your account.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Your data is encrypted, access-controlled, and only visible to you and your authorised employer. We comply with Kenyan data protection laws.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored securely in compliance with Kenyan data protection regulations. We implement strict data residency controls.

Do you support multi-factor authentication?

Yes. All users can enable multi-factor authentication for an additional layer of account security.

How long are payroll records retained?

Payroll records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with KRA audit requirements. Records are stored in immutable audit trails.
